The Scheme will primarily focus on opportunities in Indian equities with the addition of gold-ETF to provide diversification and exposure to the relative attractiveness of gold in certain phases.
This fund offers a mix of gold and equities and that's what makes it unique. It is stated that upto 35% of the money will be invested in Gold based ETF, so this make the fund different from the rest of funds available.
And that what the word "PLUS" in the name of this fund mean, plus indicates Gold as an additional invested asset, it does not indicate that returns will always be plus or poistive.
